Please check that all HiHi devices in your organisation have the latest software update.
In preparation for the country coming out of lockdown, please can you turn on all HiHi devices as soon as possible and check for any software updates, helping to minimise disruption to yourselves when returning to work.
HOW TO IDENTIFY AND UPDATE YOUR HiHi2
System updates are released periodically for your devices, and these can include important security updates, version upgrades, issue fixes, improvements and new functionality. It is always recommended to update your device when these updates become available.
If your HiHi2 handset has already received a notification:
If a software update is readily available on your device, there will be a notification icon (⇧) showing in the top-left corner. Swipe down to open the Notification Drawer and select the ‘Software Update’ notification.
You will be shown a system prompt, which will list the description of the update. Click ‘OK’. Once the system update has been downloaded, it then needs to be installed. Again, click ‘OK’. The system will run the software update, restart and then do a second restart to ensure it’s properly set. Your HiHi2 is then fully updated.
If the notification doesn’t/hasn’t yet appeared on your HiHi2:
Swipe down to open the Notification Drawer and ensure that there is no ‘Software Update’ notification. Select the ‘Settings’ icon which will open your system settings for you.
Scroll down until you see the ‘System’ option at the bottom of the list and select this. Select the ‘About Phone’ option, again at the bottom of the list. Lastly, select the final option ‘System Updates’.
A screen will appear telling you if there is either an update or not. If there is an update readily available, please follow the prompts (as above) to install the update. If there is no update available, great news, your HiHi2 is already up-to-date.
